DEFCON Wildest-Westest Wireless Network

It’s cool that DEFCON has secure wireless networks now with port isolation. I still wasn’t brave enough to connect to it and didn’t even think about trying the open network. I believe it was previously described as worlds most hostile wireless network. Always a good time though at DEFCON.

The DEFCON program book is always a work of art and a fun read. This years description of the wireless networks though, was quite the treat. There are three this year and the unencrypted network description takes the cake, “And the original, unencrypted, stick-shift, no ABS, wildest-westest of the wireless networks:DefCon-Open”
